The Cotswolds village of Ilmington whispers its ...
Moreton-in-Marsh is a bustling market town on the old Roman Fosse Way, with a broad High Street lined with handsome stone buildings, independent shops, galleries and inviting cafés.
Every Tuesday the town hosts one of the largest open-air street markets in the Cotswolds, a tradition dating back to the 13th century. You'll find over 100 stalls selling everything from local cheeses and fresh produce to clothes, plants and crafts.
Just outside town, Batsford Arboretum offers beautiful woodland walks, and the Wellington Aviation Museum tells the story of the town's wartime airfield. Moreton also has a mainline railway station with direct trains to London Paddington, so it's handy for guests travelling by train.
