Cotswold Farm Park

Founded by the father of TV presenter Adam Henson, the Cotswold Farm Park near Guiting Power is a working farm dedicated to rare and traditional British breeds. Many visitors will recognise it from the BBC's Countryfile.

You can meet more than 50 breeds of farm animals, including Cotswold Lion sheep, Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Longhorn cattle. Throughout the day there are hands-on activities such as bottle-feeding lambs, holding small animals, tractor rides and demonstrations, depending on the season.

For children there are indoor and outdoor play areas, a maze, and jumping pillows to keep them busy for hours. There's also a farm kitchen café and a shop selling local produce.

The farm park is open seasonally, so check the website for dates and activities before you visit.
