General Questions
Yes! We love dogs. But you know your dog best! We are absolutley dog friendly provided you are confident your dog is well behaved and will not damage the property, fixtures and fittings in any way. There are dog cleaning facilities at the rear of the property and access via the utility room is recommended. We kindly ask that dogs remain downstairs and are not permitted on any of the furniture.
The property is fitted with a 7KW untethered car charger in the parking area for EV charging. Please let us know if you would like us to enable this for overnight use during your stay for a small fee. (Note we cannot provide charging cables.)
There is a bike rack provided in the parking area at the property and we would prefer you not to take your bike inside. We recommend bringing your own locks and covers if you are concerned about security and weather protection.
The village has two pubs called The Howard Arms and The Red Lion, both of which serve food. There is also a volunteer run community shop and cafe which we would encourage you to visit!

There are small supermarkets in Shipton-on-Stour (Co-op and Tesco Metro) and in Moreton-in-Marsh (Co-op and Aldi).
There are several larger supermarkets in Stratford-Upon-Avon the nearest being Waitrose on the Southern outskirts of the town. Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and M&S Food can also be found on various industrial sites around the town.
Market
The largest Street Market in the Cotswolds is to be found every Tuesday on Moreton-in-Marsh High St. It has many stalls selling virtually anything, including leather goods, purses, books, fish, produce, pet products, clothing, cookware etc.
There is also a market in Stratford-upon-Avon on Fridays, set up in Rother Street.
There are some walk guides in the cottage for inspiration but a favourite recommendation would be the walk to Ebrington with a stop off for lunch either at the Ebrington Arms or further down May Lane to the café at Vegetable Matters Farm Shop.
For another nice walk that avoids muddy paths on wet days, follow a quiet road walk starting by climbing up Foxcote Hill (behind the Community Shop). When you reach the gates to Foxcote Estate, follow the lane round to the left and after about half a mile take the left turn downhill to the hamlet of Compton Scorpion. Again follow the road round to the left at the bottom of the hill continuing straight on until you re- enter the village opposite The Red Lion.
Stratford-Upon-Avon with its strong links to Shakespeare has plenty to offer at one of its 3 RSC theatres.
Varied music and drama events take place at Stratford Playhouse  and The Bear Pit Theatre.
For Cinema try the Everyman Stratford-upon-Avon
Varied Cultural Art exhibitions and events take place at Compton Verney
